The Smart Farm Multi-Ministry Package Innovation Technology Development Project is a joint initiative led by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, the Rural Development Administration, and the Ministry of Science and ICT.

(재)스마트팜연구개발사업단은 농림축산식품부, 과학기술정보통신부, 농촌진흥청이 공동으로 추진하는 다부처 혁신기술개발사업을 기반으로, 미래 농업을 선도하기 위해 설립된 기관입니다.기후 변화와 농업의 지속가능성 위기에 대응하고자 인공지능(AI), 빅데이터, 센서 기술을 융합한 스마트농업 솔루션과 차세대 원천기술 개발을 추진하고 있으며, 이를 통해 시설원예와 시설축산 분야의 2·3세대 스마트팜 구축을 목표로 하고 있습니다.
또한, 현장 맞춤형 기술개발과 표준화를 기반으로 실질적인 농가 적용과 확산을 지원하며, 한국형 스마트팜 모델을 구축하여 국내는 물론 글로벌 시장에서도 경쟁력 있는 미래 농업을 실현하고자 합니다.
